For the 2022 spring, summer and fall season Capt. Chris will be running charters out of Morehead City, NC at Cape Lookout National Seashore for Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, False Albacore and more!

Capt. Chris primarily focuses on searching for tailing or cruising Redfish in the clear shallow waters of Cape Lookout, NC. Sight casting to these fish is challenging but rewarding as they move erratically searching for shrimp, crabs or fish. The eat is very visual and these fish often pull into the backing once hooked! There are opportunities to catch Speckled Trout, Flounder, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel and more!
In August and September, Bull Drum are able to be caught on fly in the Neuse River. This is an excellent opportunity to catch a citation Drum on fly or light tackle!
September through Thanksgiving the False Albacore invade the nearshore waters of Cape Lookout. These fish are incredibly exciting to cast to and land on fly! You are guaranteed to see backing after hooking up with one of these speedsters.

Eco Tours: Join Capt. Chris on an eco tour around Cape Lookout NC. See wild horses, dolphins, birds, fish, crustaceans and more. Ride amongst the marshes in Chris’s safe and stable Hewes Redfisher. Learn about the saltwater ecology of the area and walk the beaches of Shackleford Banks and search for conch shells. Trips may be weather dependent. Two or three guests on the boat.
