Join Knot The Reel World on an unforgettable international fly fishing adventure in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Patagonia, Chile. There are few places on Earth that can compare with the remoteness of Patagonia, the size of its trout and their willingness to eat a fly. The trout in these rivers are very aggressive and some of them have never seen an imitation. Brown and rainbow trout here average 18 inches, with many shots at fish over 20 inches every day. The dry fly fishing here is unbelievable with massive beetle, dragonfly and mice patterns used for the biggest fish in the rivers and lakes.

Knot The Reel World hosts annual trips to the Paloma River Lodge in central Patagonia, Chile. Paloma River Lodge is located in a remote region an hour east of Coyhaique, Chile. These week long trips include all food, lodging and alcohol in the price. The location of the lodge is so remote that phone, internet and television access is not possible without a trip into town.

Fishing seasons run from November through April with the best dry fly fishing between December and March. Guests fish all day floating nearby rivers and exploring large lakes with breaks for stream side lunch. Very friendly guides and absolutely breathtaking, rugged scenery. Think Colorado, but bigger and better!

Small groups of 3-5 provide an intimate experience on remote rivers where you will very rarely see another angler. Scheduling can fluctuate to accommodate groups. Trip cost starts at $3200, not including airfare. Deals may be available based on seasonality.
