Summer Drum fishing around Morehead City, Beaufort and Cape Lookout has been absolutely fantastic! We are seeing incredible numbers of fish on oyster bars, flats and sloughs. This summer and fall will be an excellent chance for anglers to sight cast 18-30” Red Drum. Many of these fish are cruising in a foot or two of clear water and can be actively seen eating the fly or lure! We’ve got all of the fly and light tackle gear needed to land these strong fish.
